Seeing these Balloon Festivals, different shapes and colours drifting across the sky, is something special.Yes, Ballon and Aeroplane is not for everyone, if truth were known, I bet most feel apprehensive but put up with flying.
I like the idea of the Airbus making a return, and all it offers for travel.
Granted slower but, flying lower the views would be pretty spectacular.

I took this photo of the flame in our balloon when we were well up in the 'heavens' 
- the flame roars, frightening for the first time you hear it as you don't know what to expect but you get used to it though.
It would brown your toast in no time!

I see them all the time when I'm down in Perth, there's a firm that you can book with and they take you up. I've stood and watched it going up and coming down and people seem to enjoy it, also see it floating over the house most days.
