I started as an apprentice electrician in the long hot summer of 76, a completely different world to school, I loved it, sadly it wasn’t to be as I was made redundant a few years later and was never able to get back in the trade..

Yes, I’m still enjoying it LD, a completely different change of pace, I rarely break into a sweat, as for getting up, winter is a bit of a drag but I’m not travelling round in all the bad weather anymore..

Not sure foxy, I could retire now if I wanted/ had to, but I’m in a wonderful position of not having to take any crap at work ( not that I get any) and I would just leave and not have to worry about rushing to find something else. I’m sort of working towards when I’m 64, ( as the song goes) , Mrs p will get a good pension when she retires but that’s nearly 7 years and she won’t let me sit at home while she goes to work.

I don’t really do bucket lists tango, however I’d really like just to be able to take off somewhere in this country when the mood took me..

It’s got to be summer tabs, I tend to get different feelings as the seasons change, spring is all exciting waiting for everything to come alive, summer, those lazy days, autumn, I tend to get a bit forlorn as everything seems to be ending, winter, the run up to Christmas and the anti climax after it’s all over..but I guess I’m just glad to be here to enjoy them all..

I had a generally happy childhood, there’s loads of stuff, nothing momentous just the usual, playing in the street and all the stuff kids do

1 son Pauline, still lives with us can’t get rid
I think I was about 13 or 14, she was the same, but she was just using me as she had another boyfriend but he was away on holiday, I was devastated when we broke up after two weeks, ah well, her loss...
