Re: Out Of Bounds.

I love a good bit of sarcasm....One of my favourites was when I was working in a factory. We were all sat in the canteen having our lunch. Eddie (a rugby player and a mountain of a man) had finished his sandwich and lit up a smoke.....Cal, who was sitting next to Eddie and had not finished his sandwich said to Eddie "Do you mind if I eat while you smoke Eddie?"..
The canteen went silent........ Fortunately Eddie took it in the spirit that it was intended....

Well we smokers can sometimes be quite civilised, despite smelling like ashtrays, but I'm with you on avoiding drunks.

I worked with some great blokes for over 22 years in that factory Right Now, and I was sad when we all got made redundant back in 1994. Had I not been made redundant I would have worked there until I retired....However, had I not been pushed I would have never worked as a self employed courier for 8 years (the best job I ever had!) and then working for Royal Mail as a postman (the second best job I ever had) So really it did me a favour.... I miss those blokes in the factory though....

All of our experiences with coworkers should leave us with well made friendships, Foxie. I understand your appreciation for each of your jobs. I was also fortunate enough to love each job I ever had, and the fun I had while taking money was....priceless.
Sounds like you are a people person, too. Wish I could have met those blokes. I bet I would have been greatly entertained. . Thanks for sharing
