I love cranes Tiff....
The one there is a mobile one that doesn't lift very heavy items, you can tell by the height and the flimsy jib. They are usually used for positioning 'A' frames in roofs and where reach is necessary.

This bad boy was a heavy lifting crane with a long reach telescopic jib that lifted bits of a bridge...

That is a nice crane, OGF. Think the one here must be for a private customer, they cost a fortune to hirer. I watch Grand Designs.

I did see a crane today as I was riding along, up in the air (the crane not me). Unusual to see just the one.
