We are blessed with both species here Jeff, although the goldfinches seem to disappear for a few months over winter they are back on the feeders now, a joyous sight in the garden.

Oh I love these pics...I have never seen a Goldfinch in real life, they are really pretty!

Love these pics, as I love birds. However, our robins in the US look very different. Your UK robins remind me of our little bluebirds. I learned something today

Very common when I was a lad, but a tad rarer now.

Wow, PooBear that is stunning! Nope, never seen one, sadly. They are probably about, I just haven't noticed. Since seeing your first pics on joining the forum I have been paying closer attention to the little birds around here, and managed to get a (fairly) good shot of a blue tit. I'll try and get it uploaded here and show you. So chuffed with myself
