I love this! I'm always amazed at people who don't realise that the United Kingdom, Great Britain and the British Isles are not interchangeable terms. I'm talking about people who actually live in the British Isles.

I had a couple of people over the years convinced that Scotland was just a wee place in the north of England. Their faces when I explained that it was actually a country in its own right, with a government and everything, was priceless!
