We don't get ice cream vans out in the countryside

It feels more like normal times having spent the afternoon making loads of gingerbread men ( about 40 some will be frozen ) for the children , I haven't done that for a while

I will take them up to my sons tomorrow , sit out on the veranda and meet the new puppy Nova which arrived in early December so is quite big now. ...

There's always a van round this way...sells everything, not just ice cream. Quite handy for a pint of milk etc, but not reliable, heh! Other than that, signs of normality is just more traffic on the roads, more people out and about.

Yes, heard one here yesterday. I have a freezer full of icecream so didn't go out.

I haven't heard an ice cream van for a few years.

They probably didn't get much business from our road so went elsewhere.
