I went to a lecture Prince Phillip gave with our school. Only 5 children were chosen from each school in the area & I was one of the lucky ones, guess I was about 12 at the time, we went to London on the train with a teacher. The lecture was very interesting & Prince Phillip very funny, but I can't now remember what it was about. I do remember we all had to write a report on the experience.09-04-2021, 01:50 PM

When I think of Prince Philip I think of the time he was visiting my home island when I was 10. My sisters and I were sitting in the car at the harbour with our mother when my sister said she needed the potty, which was carried in the back of the car. Whilst Mum was assisting her a head looked through the window, it was the Prince who had gone walkabout when he got off the boat having been visiting the other islands. I thought it was very funny, Mum nearly died of embarrassment.
