Have You Ever Been On A Blind Date?

I have only been on one blind date, when l was about 21?

It was arranged by a work colleague who said, her cousin would be ideal for me!

He turned up in his mother’s car with the number plate 2 MOM.
I think he was very close to his mother as he never stopped talking about her!

He was not my type at all and l just wanted to go home! That was the one and only blind date, l ever went on!

Have you, or anyone you know, ever been on a blind date? If so, was it a success or a disaster?

I was on one once without knowing!
Others had conspired behind my back!

He was a good match
My friends knew me well
We lasted 3 years

Nope. Never been on a blind date, can't imagine I would either.
Think I'd rather know who I was going to meet.

My daughter went on a blind date, he was the son of a lady in the office where she worked. She was almost 18 at the time and he was 5 years older than her. She got engaged at 19 and married when she was 21.

Did it last? They will have been married 23 years this year

Just goes to show that blind dates do sometimes work out

I've only been on a blind date once...and it was a fun time. We went to the EX...(The Canadian Exhibition)...and went on so many rides that night. Lost my purse from the roller coaster...and finally found it on the ground. His name was Bill Dent and was the brother of a neighbour, who set it up.

Never saw him again after that night...but then again, we were only about 19.
