Gran killed by Police Dog

Hi

Here we go

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...-a8542111.html

A lot of questions to be answered about this.

There were armed officers present, why did they not shoot the dog?

Yes they should have shot the animal.

That is awful. I don't know what to say. My sympathies go out to her family.

Re: Gran killed by Police Dog

Yes, I read about this today in the good-old Daily Mail (online).

The public's opinion of the police today is at an all-time low, although admittedly not entirely of their own making, and this apparent lack of control (or possibly training) of the dog has done them no favours at all.

Why was the dog released? I read that its handler held the chain by only one finger. I agree that, when a human life is in danger, there should be no hesitation in shooting the dog dead.

Using a firearm indoors in probably poor light might well have caused even more harm to the lady involved.

She died. Death, the last time I heard, is terminal.

Cant understand why dog bites should cause her death. Why/were the police searching for drugs in her garden,?Something sounds suspicious

Re: Gran killed by Police Dog

All sounds very odd ...
She died four days later from her injury.
She was bit in her kitchen.
The police had contacted her earlier to obtain permission to search her garden.
Why would the dogs attack her?
