It says in the report that the individual was being arrested for the possession of ammunition. Surely a sign to be careful.

Hi

There are procedures in place to ensure that any detained person is not carrying a weapon in a secure area of a Police Station.

According to some reports he had been searched and handcuffed and was just having a Covid test .This can’t Possibly be true .

Non-White means just that. It could be anything from a Negro to an Asian and a few more besides.

As for my personal feelings, when you are able to know what my personal feelings are then and ONLY then MIGHT you be in a position to comment in any way other than based on a guess.

FWIW the memsahib and I am part of an ethnic minority in the UK.

Because he pulled out a gun. Had he been searched correctly they'd have found the gun on him.
If he'd been handcuffed, he'd have had some difficulty in pulling out the gun.

I would imagine Swimmies basis could only be that he had
possession of a weapon at the police station Besoeker ???

BTW, the suspects should ALWAYS be both cuffed AND searched
BEFORE being locked in the back of the police vehicle!
And l am certain the procedures dont mention the skin colour of
the suspects either?

Now Twinkle, you know that's not true. "Non-white" could imply any shade of brown, olive or even yellow, not necessarily black.

However, the earlier mention of him having been known to the anti-terrorist people, would suggest he might have been muslim or possibly IRA.
