Re: And So it Begins - The Great Toilet Roll Grab!

We've already got a 12 month stockpile of everything other than things that won't keep. It's the only sensible thing to do.

We've even got 30 off 5 litre bottles of water in the garage because two people need a tad over 5 litres a day and if there's a protracted power out round here we also lose tap water.

The old well in the garden will supply non potable water for washing etc but I wouldn't want to drink it!

I have a nasty feeling that this winter is going to be no fun

I feel the same Todger.
It's going to be a very different Christmas this year for most of us too.

Tess, I know exactly what you mean, as I popped into Iceland this afternoon, and there was only one packet left on their shelves too.
Kitchen rolls will go the same way.

Here we go again by the looks of it.

All the supermarkets and their suppliers say they have plenty of stock and no need to panic buy, but folks don’t listen

I had the foresight to buy a pack of twenty-four Cushelle TP last week as my last pack of twenty-four is all about done. They'll last me well into next year.
