Obviously the article was written by someone who is not aware of refugees should be taken in by the first "safe" country ie France. Human rights???? what about the camps around Calais, what about their human rights??? why hasn't France accepted them and given them homes and jobs as well a other EU members
No the EU sticks up its fingers to human rights, this refugee problem is ignored by most EU countries, it is only us that try and give them " human rights" over and above our own peoples needs
Hi
We can only return them to France as part of our EU Membership.
We actually choose not to.
At the end of the Transition Period, this option ceases to exist and International Law then applies.
They will be entirely our own problem.
If we cannot defend our Borders, that is solely our problem.
We have a separate agreement with France to have our Border Control on French Soil.
This can be rescinded with 6 months notice from either side.
Keep upsetting the French and they will rescind it.
The French cannot understand why we do not stop the economic migrants from entering the UK when we can, thus ensuring that they accumulate around Calais to get into the UK.
They only migrate here because of our Benefits system and refusal to stop them entering.
