Re: Did anybody have any storm damage last night?

We had about a thimblefull of rain here, the ground is like concrete.

Presumably you will have to get someone in to move the tree and cut it up Twink?

(I'm not giving you my tree fella's phone number).

We were so lucky yesterday. No storm and not one drop of rain, just a beautiful, sunny day with the temperature around 22 degrees.

It was so lovely and mild that we sat out on the deck with a cup of tea at 10 pm.

Today seems to be the same so far.

We had a bad thunderstorm earlier in the evening. It was so unexpected.

Twink, it’s a good job it wasn’t Percy the Pigeon’s tree that was struck!

Hi

No rain yesterday and no wind.

Now we have both, a proper little storm.

Went to bed last night with the wind whipping up the tiles on the roof and the windows being lashed with rain. Got up this morning to a bright blue sunny sky with a few fluffy clouds gently passing by.

Twink, brace yourself .... there's a nasty thunderstorm here and on it's way to you.
You're only about 5 miles away from me I think. The rain is bucketing it down in sheets.
You can't see a thing it's like a waterfall.

Hi

There is a severe weather warning for parts of Shropshire and Staffordshire until 9 tonight.

I am watching on the weather radar.

We are due another one in the next few minutes.
