YLM Britain ready to welcome Hong Kong refugees

That's nice of us. I wonder where we are going to put them all?

He can chuck a few in my home town - plenty of Chinese students here already so a few more won't make a difference. They don't cause any bother and are fairly well integrated into the town and surrounding areas.

You are right. We never get any bother from the Chinese living here but are we in a position to take in 3 million of them?

A friend of mine used to take student lodgers and the Japanese and Chinese were the least troublesome of all of them. Very polite and well-behaved compared to other nationalities.

That's all well and good but where on earth are the three million who could be living here going to live and work? Haven't we enough problems finding homes and work for our own people? That was before the coronavirus, the after-effects of this is now proving just how many are probably going to be without work and therefore without homes when they cannot pay mortgages.

Does Boris really know what's already happening in this country?

Could be a shrewd tactical move, especially if they built a new town, for them all, somewhere up North.

Drawbacks might include - which ones are commies in disguise?

- Who pays for the development, & employment?

- would they want to come here?

We could line them up on the south coast as a human barrier to stop illegals flooding into the country.

There is doubt that China would allow all of them to leave.

Britain, no longer insulated by its membership in the European Union, is eager to forge new trading relationships with economic powers around the world, and China is high on that list.
UK may have to agree with China to allow selected individuals a new life here.

Hi

A smart move on our part, economically active with loads of money, should end our skills shortage and increase spending here in the UK.

So where will they live? Do we need to build another 3M homes? Are the queues at the doctor's surgeries not long enough already?
