National Motor Cycle Museum.

We were at a fair there Sunday. Took the pics for my Son, but thought others might like to see them. I didn't go in the main paying area.

Thanks, did not realise they had recovered from a bad fire a few years back. I assume it's the one I'm thinking of.

Some wonderful machinery there Tiff, I visited quite a few years ago after I had dropped someone off at the airport. The fire was an absolute tragedy but it looks like they've put it behind them now, many thanks for the photos...

I think my old friend Maurice Brierley's Methamon may be there.

Re: National Motor Cycle Museum.

Thanks for the replies.
I didn't know there had been a fire there.
I only went in the public area of the museum, didn't pay to go in the main part. We were at a fair there & we've been doing that for a couple of years now.
The last of the photo's.
Son was very disapointed I didn't buy him raffle tickets for the bike. I bought him a mug instead.

Ooh some nice bits to drool over. A Velo and an Ariel at the back perchance?

Who vandalised the crankcases and cog-box sides on the others? Is one of them a Royal Oilfield?

Re: National Motor Cycle Museum.

I'm not a fan of modern cars and motor cycles but love these characterful oldies.
