Hi Julie. Congrats on your new car.

Re: Yippee ! new car

Congrats Julie. I Googled it. Hope you get years of happy motoring.

My sister has just bought a second hand Nissan Qashqai and it's given me car envy, but realistically I can't change my own just yet.

Re: Yippee ! new car

Your new car must be along the same lines as mine then, I have the Suzuki 4x4. I've seen several Hondas and they look very like mine. Sorry but I don't have a close up photo of her, but you get the idea from this.
I call her Zuki..

Re: Yippee ! new car

Hilda the honda is winning so far as for why a compact suv well my lovely dog Elsie likes them, we always let her chose the model of car as she refuses to get into some cars and we have to keep her happy.

Last honda worked really well on our roads too as it was big enough to straddle the road humps and never grounded on them like the jazz did on a couple of occasions. I quite like the height too as I struggle a bit getting in and out of lower cars with my legs not always being too bendy.

So thank you to Carol for the idea !

LOL our old one was great for camping too we could put a tent up behind it and use the boot as our seating or our cooking surface. Used to put babies in the boot over night to sleep too as it was warmer than the tent.
