I'm usually quite motivated, but as you say mood often comes into play and I sometimes have to drag myself into doing whatever it is I should be doing. I tell myself that I'll enjoy whatever it is when I'm doing it and will feel good afterwards, and that usually does the trick and gets me moving.

What really narks me is when I'm motivated but ill-health stops me doing what I want to do!

You don't know what your missing! For instance last financial year I did 9660 business miles and 10710 private miles.

Actually, a spreadsheet is a good idea. I have several 'To do' list files created in Excel. Unfortunately I can no longer open them after finding Win10 under a stone.
