I use one glove to operate the fuel pump handle, then dispose of that and walk to the pay kiosk and use contactless. The only problem I did experience, just the once recently, was when their card machine wouldn't do contactless for some reason, then I had to use the keypad. To be on the safe side though, as much as possible, it was then down to not touching my face at all and ensuring my hands were washed thoroughly on arriving home.
Now I am thinking it might be better to keep the glove on until I have completed the transaction, then if the machine didn't work I could use that hand to key in the passcode.
All this thinking twice before doing anything that used to be such a 'normal' everyday routine is getting to be such hard work!
