Remainers

Hi

Not all Remainers are trying to sabotage Brexit.

Liz Truss voted Remain but is doing a great job.

For every one like Liz Truss, there's ten or more trying to destabilise Brexit and trying to get us back into the EU. A.C.Graying and Andrew Adonis just two examples.

I can't for the life of me understand why they want to return to the EU. I don't believe for one minute it's for the good of the UK, more like vested interests.

I believe there is a real chance that Brexit will be finally overturned
at the next election,( which is not so very far away !) ??
As at least 80% of parliament have NEVER EVER believed in
letting the people have their say !!Added to the civil service the odds
are in the establishments favour in another vote !!
Why do you think we had all the extensions and delays ?
We will never get another referendum !! EVER !!

Re: Remainers

At the moment there is a huge problem in the EU.

Germany is owed trillions by member states such as Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain etc. Those countries are hamstrung by the pandemic and will struggle to pay their loans back while their businesses are crippled by lockdowns.

There is a big bubble about to burst in the Eurozone and Germany is in real trouble. If the UK rejoined we would go down with it.

Remainers only care about socialism. To them its always someone else who pays, never them.

Until they find out and their only solution is to do more socialism.

I sincerely hope not.

The problem is that Boris only got us half-out. Unless he sorts that out pretty quickly, he's going to lose votes quite likely to Reform UK or other right-wing parties. That could let Labour in and we all know what would happen then.

Rejoining the EU would be the least of our problems.

Saying things because you would like to think they are true is all very well, Bread, but I can't help but wonder what the point of it is.

That is a very good question! At the end of 2020, when after so much secrecy finally the content of the so secret "deal" was published, I said "WHAT?". "THAT IS IT?" it thought.

I thought how on earth could D.Frost agree to that deal? Honestly, it so very much in favor for the EU, how could that be agreed by the UK. Phew...

And now D. Frost was - maybe as a prize for his achievements during the negotiations - rewarded with a job as an unelected beaurocrat in the government.

So Donkeyman, your question is very good. I would very much like to know the answer.
