Re: Lib Dems Sarah Olney dragged off air

I think they should have another by-election in Richmond Park. After all, the vote was not what should have happened. If another by-election takes place then the result may be what should have happened and Zac Goldsmith will be elected.
After all, the margin dozy Sarah Olney won was only 4%, and She is the big mouth who likes to be heard as leading the LimpDem's campaign to have the Brexit win declared nul and void and another referendum called.

Where do they find these cretins?

A truly insightful interview I thought.
That's how I saw it too. They've made accusations and now that the same accusation is made to them, albeit in humour, they're all upset!

Wasn't that exactly the point the interviewer was trying to make? except she laboured it far too much by incessantly repeating the question after having made her point.

Try the first couple of minutes of this interview by Sarah Ferguson with the Treasurer after the 2014 budget (actually the whole interview is brilliant). She doesn't hector but does she asks the right questions (Joe Hockey is now US ambassador). That is how to do it.

BTW it was this budget that indirectly lead to the downfall of Abbott as PM.

In that respect the reporter/interviewer concerned did an excellent job

Wasn't it President Roosvelt (I'm willing to be corrected) who made the comment about politics - 'if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen'.
Not by using extreme sarcasm and leading questions.
Interviewers should be objective...when anyone in the BBC even hints at a bias they are harangued for not being objective.
This was harassment.

She was running for a role as an MP representing her constituency on constituency matters.

and if the country weren't so biased in their hive minds they might just read up on what the LibDems actually stand for.

Sarah Olney had not been in any govt doing any campaigning or "leading".
Olney joined the Liberal Democrats in July 2015, soon after the general election.[5] She later said "I had never thought about being a politician.

I suggest a bit if research.

You (plural) may disagree with a party's position on policy but this remark above are not true.

So what sort of questions are we supposed to ask of poor little Sarah?

How's the weather in Richmomd?

Are you thinking of celebrating your victory by treating yourself to a new set of curtains?

So it's not just the 52% now, it's the whole country!
