Fair enough, free speech and all that. Of coarse he should be heard.
The UK can join Aus in sucking up to the bloke -
whilst he has the power to decide things to our mutual benefit.
That "leader of the free world" thing gives me the irrates. I don't remember voting - do you ?
If/when he eventually craps in his nest however, I hope that the world will not perceive our grovelling as support for whatever ratbag policies he pursues.
Also hope that whilst he's traipsing around the globe wallowing in his elevated RealityTV status, no non-Yank takes a pot-shot at him.
Remember Archduke Ferdinand and what his demise led to.

Now they have announced the state visit they should definitely go ahead with it, anything else is diplomatic suicide. There is no point arguing about it in Parliament. However, they should not have rushed into this as it's unprecedented to invite a new President so early into the Presidency. Too late now, but it appears a more emotional than rational decision to have proffered it at the first meeting.|
