Pauline we can't rely on cleaning companies they are in it to make money .We must Make our own decisions as to what is good for the environments.
We don't need to use super strong chemicals that all end up in one place the ocean .
We are killing the oceans and everything in it.
Each and everyone of us who contribute by using dangerous chemicals .

When I first retired I was a bit obsessive about cleaning not because the house needed it but I just couldn't get used to having free time. I created jobs to keep me busy but have to admit I'm over that now

I keep the house clean and I love fresh flowers every week but I've learnt to fill my time with other things. I still love the house to sparkle but its not as much of a priority anymore.

I didn't realise it was that bad,I will look for more natural ingredients ,which suit the environment,..not nice what I just read on line,..does anyone use natural ingredients to clean?..if so can you tell me what make,or what ingredients you use?

ya know us guys still don't understand what "sparkle" means - we do know the word sparkle - like when I was a kid my dad bought me sparklers etc but wouldn't a sparkling house blind you??

Let's put it this way,if a glass picture was covered in grime,if you cleaned it thoroughly,it would sparkle!...like Simon cowells teeth.
