Re marrying and state pension

My friend is a pensioner , her partner is 8 yrs younger and a working man . They want to marry . Will she lose her state pension if they go ahead ?

Hi Sue providing she has qualifying years she automatically has a pension in her own right

State pensions are getting very complicated. If I was her I would seek advice from the pensions department.
