I hope for two specific things.

Firstly, things that we already produce, such as foodstuffs.
For these, I think it is up to us, the British people, to try to choose as many existing British products as we can. This would encourage our existing manufacturers to have the confidence to expand their workforce and production facilities.

Secondly, I'd like to see businessmen try to stick their necks out and invest in new companies in an attempt to once again make products that we have lost to other countries including the EU. I'm sure there must still be some residual expertise in this country to get things going again, and hesitant British workers (and possibly some from abroad) might be attracted to join by government grants.
