If it was her husband or partner, would he not have written the note in their native language? Could the lady have been a servant to somebody?

I don't know what to make of that one Steve, surely she could remember those three little requests/orders without writing them down, maybe she has a bad memory 'Come back quick or else' could mean she had something on the cooker and if she's not back quick it could boil over, I always try to see the bright side of things first.

Who knows. I doubt she would have written "come back quick or else" to herself, it sounds to me, more like an order from someone very unpleasant.

Poor woman, don't sound good.
