Yes im afraid that is the problem i honestly cannot see people going to the trouble of returning the empties if it is not worthwhile for just a few pence.

Hmmmm - I'm not sure they've thought this through properly. Many people now shop 'on-line' and have their shopping delivered to them, including plastic bottles of milk or fruit juice. Will the delivery man want dozens of emty plastic bottles given to him whilst on his/her delivery round???
