I'm in favor of banning all private use of fireworks. Not gonna happen, at least here in the States. But it's not as bad as it was earlier, as they have tightened up the rules about what kind private citizens can have.

Wish they would ban them here too-they are so readily available here. They have been banging away tonight from about 5 pm and they are still going now. Again, its the minority like the idiots this afternoon, that spoil it for the majority.

I have had one very stressed dog tonight, stupidly thought that was the fireworks over....

So did I Moli-suppose they'll be going now till after New Year! Its awful when your pet gets that stressed and there's nothing you can do for them.

Ditto Mags, . . there were more let off before the 5th, . . bonfire night was very quiet for a change.

We had a few bangs and crashes last night but nothing of any significance and nothing to complain about.
I read that there have been good sales of 'family fireworks' this year, which are designed to be much quieter for the young children and for people who are concerned about animal welfare
