Happy aniversary Berlin

Can't believe it's 20 years today since the wall was torn down, . . since then Germany has went from strength to strength.

It was the beginning of the end of communism IMO, . . the best thing that's happened since Stalin died.

I'll never forget that night Mags, . . I watched it on TV as it happened, I think it was Jon Snow who was there and the scenes were amazing, guys up on top with picks knocking bits of it, it was fantastic.

There was a program on at tea time showing the escapes some of those people made over and under the wall, . . a lot of them lost their lives attempting to get to the west.

I remember that too, it was exciting times, so sad all of those people who died trying to escape.
