Yes we were in Sainsbury's too, they/we observed the 2 mins silence, you could hear a pin drop!

I'd planned to pause at 11 for silence, but the heating contractors were here working on my boiler and I got distracted .....

I watched the service from Westminster Abbey. I always acknowledge Armistice Day by have a quiet 2 min silence myself.
