Re: Sopping saturday

Is everyone OK???
What a storm - and maybe more to come today Is it the tail end of Hurricane Ida, whizzing through on the jet stream? Whatever, it woke us at 3am as the rain lashed into our south facing window, literally as though water was being thrown in bucketsful. It's dry for the moment but the wind is building up again.
All shopping etc was completed yesterday, so today I plan on going exactly nowhere today.
Have a good day everyone and stay safe

Have a good Saturday - bucketing up here think both Loki and I will need waders, or a wee rowing boat to go out

Take care.

Re: Sopping saturday

What a night last night! We've had short glimpses of sun this morning followed by torrential storms. The wind is still very strong, went shopping this morning and no way could anyone have used an umbrella - we would all have ended up like Mary Poppins!

Staying in now for the rest of the day and watching the mound of leaves that have amassed on the ground overnight!

If you have to go out today, take care everyone.

Managed to stay upright in the night! Did put the birds in their travel boxes overnight in case of damage to the aviaries but its very tame here & nothing like they predicted. Has rained lots but thats nothing new!

Good Morning Christian and everyone. Sounds like so many of you are very wet with lots of rain, it has to end sometime, I hope!!

Ours is still nice but next week has to get colder, I can't ever remember a November this warm in Ohio.
