Re: Glorious mud
I is back, . . and so is Barbie, . . albeit a bit muddy
but she sailed through the deepest muck you can imagine.
I've always had faith in the little girl, . . that time she got bogged down in the spring was my fault entirely, . . I did a three pint turn on a mud bank and the rear wheels dropped into a hole under water when I was reversing.
It was a bit wild today, rain lashing down and a force 8 blowing.
This is the mud bank where I got stuck, you can still see the tyre ruts.
It looks grassy but standing there you go ankle deep in mud.
The river is high but during dry spells there's a ford you can cross, even when low the water's still 2 foot deep.
There's a 4 foot slope to the mud bank here, I was tempted to go down again but changed my mind.
C'mon little Barbie, . . you can do it, this hump-back was quite steep.
Nero in the drivers seat giving me a few tips on off-roading.
A blast with the power washer and she'll be good as new.
