'Coming Out'

I know - I'm havin' a right moan today, but why - do we have to keep hearing about another sportsman-woman or celeb - 'coming out'.
Gays are well accepted now - so why do they keep on about it - huh ?

It think it makes them superior these days, a bit like a badge of honour, because if it makes no difference then why bother to make an issue of it at all...

To show countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ghana, Kenya, Arabia etc., that being gay is acceptable and quite normal.

I suppose it's a big thing with them and they like to make a song and dance about it, I would imagine there are still plenty of well known people who will die with moth balls on them because they will never come out and there's no time like the present to do so, I have me suspicions about some but I'm keeping me mouth shut, in or it it doesn't bother me, each to his own.
