Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Alan

With 4 huge oak trees in my garden I would need a large transporter to do that.

Meg sorry to hear that you had a fall last week. It fair knocks you about.

Enjoy the rest of your day folks.
Thank you Shirley I remember you had a really bad fall didn't you.
I should probably have gone to hospital but didn't think I could cope with hours in A&E so I managed on my own. The worse part was wanting to faint and as I was out with the dog couldn't let myself. Luckily I won't be entering any beauty contests so am not to bothered about the scars.
It really does shake you up though doesn't it .

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

A belated g'morning to all dry and very mild here...

Did a Sainsbury's shop earlier and it appeared to be busier in there than usual, still no extra check-outs open though

Thinking of Susan who starts her chemo today *hugs*

Meg I hope all goes well at the dentist this afternoon..

Best wishes to all who are feeling under the weather today ...

Enjoy your day

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Hi

Not the best of days, I snapped my leg brace recently, so reliant on my old spare.

My local NHS has been put into special measures, so told by the hospital today I will have to wait.

Stopped to do a bit of shopping on the way home, got my foot run over by a full shopping trolley.

A lovely little old lady, lost control of it, very apologetic.

Back to the hospital, now I have a broken big toe on my good leg.

Not a good day, all in all.

Aw Gibbs that sounds both frustrating and painful .
Commiserations, I had experience of a leg brace with my late husband. It was such a performance getting one mended or replaced and involved a trip of many miles , I hope that has improved over the years.
