Oh dear SF, it wasn't your day I hope you can get your leg brace mended or replaced soon.

Bad luck about your toe, do you need crutches to help you get around in the meantime?

Yes I am on crutches, I was on them for 6 years, last needed them 21 years ago, thought I had finished with them.

Never mind, still alive, which is the main thing.
