God rest him, a top class rider and one of the all time greats in the racing world. I read his Biography "Pat on the Back"some years ago, his dad was also a jockey from Dublin, Jimmy Eddery.

My dad used to bet on the horses and pat eddery was one of the jockeys I remember, 63 is no age nowadays may he rest in peace
