Re: I've had my chest x-ray
Well, some good news. My G.P. says that my back pain is definitely muscular and nothing to do with my cancer. She said that she could feel large knots on my back. Plus, the fact that the pain goes away when I lie down and my back and neck don't need to be supported. I look forward to 10pm when I can get an hour or 2 of relief before sleeping.Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I've had acupuncture before and it hurt as the needles went in. I've ordered a heatpad from Argos today specifically for my back. It should help. I'll be able to use it whilst sitting up reading or watching TV. What would be just as good would be some massages but I would need more than 1 session and they are pricey. Apart from the back pain, I can feel my strength ever so slowly increasing.Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I got one, a Beurer for £30. It seems quite good but I feel the weather is a little warm to fully get the benefit of it. It'll be great in the Winter, though. It has 3 settings, stops automatically after 90 minutes, and I have it on 1 at the moment (3 is roasting). I just drape it over the back of the cushion and sit with it pressed into my back. Better than constantly re-filling a hot water bottle. Oh, and it has a big illuminated switch. Good value especially if it helps my back.Re: I've had my chest x-ray
