The same applies to the print media. Of The New York Times and The Washington Post, I'm in favor of taking one of them over. I don't really care which one. Again, a hostile takeover seems in order.
Even if all of the above was accomplished, the left would still have a heavy advantage, but at minimum the citizens would have a few options.
Which ever way things go, I believe we are nearing a point where bloody violence against the leftist media is becoming more likely every day. The conservatives are becoming increasingly more angry at being daily bashed by the leftist media.
They can say what they like and with no come backs.
Not like in the UK.
The Media can be sued for false reports.

Galty, I think you are mostly correct about the untouchability of the American press. But, it should be pointed out that The Supreme Court Of The United States is not bound by precedent, not even it's own. In other words SCOTUS can reinterpret the Constitution at any time.However, I am obviously not a Constitutional lawyer.
However, that does not stop the rank and file from taking action. CNN can be dealt with. Right now, CNN journalists don't go anywhere without armed guards. I'm serious. The day of reckoning is fast approaching.
Conservatives are wise to the CNN leftist bias, and we are seriously angry.

The point is about leftist bias in reporting. The worst offender is CNN, followed by NBC.
When O'Bama was president there was a slobbering love affair between the leftist media and O'Bama. When journalists interviewed O'Bama it looked as if they wanted to stick their tongues down his throat. (both the male and female reporters)
A few days ago, there was a Trump rally. Several hundred people were screaming at the CNN reporter. I have never before seen that kind of anger at a reporter in America. The whole thing has become a powder-keg. All it will now take is one person with a match.
