If your political preference determines which newspaper you believe, yes, then I can understand brexiters believing what they read in the express!

Such a narrow minded view it’s just as much a Liberal newspaper

The Guardian has no party affiliation but it’s owners the Guardian Trust Limited rarely interferes with the judgement of its Editor. It may be left of centre but

It’s principles are:
"To secure the financial and editorial independence of The Guardian in perpetuity: as a quality national newspaper without party affiliation; remaining faithful to its liberal tradition; as a profit-seeking enterprise managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner“

The Telegraph’s owners the Barclay Brothers are Conservative party donors and the editorial content reflects their political leaning and protects their interests which include:
placing their significant assets under ownership of companies registered abroad and controlled through trusts and depriving the U.K. treasury of tax revenue it can ill afford to lose in light of our ever increasing borrowing

So taking into consideration the ethos of the owners of the newspapers I would consider the veracity of the Guardian to be more reliable than the Telegraph

Not according to the number of recent apologies and the "Corrections and clarifications" from The Guardian it's not.

Are you quoting verifiable statistical analysis you can evidence or is it just plucked out of thin air

A web search reveals no current analysis but the most recent data that can be found indicates the Telegraph has been in the top 5 offenders headed by the DailyMail whereas the Guardian has never featured in that group

All newspapers are biased if that's what you mean.

The Guardian is the worst of all of them. It's 57 pages of recycled news that nobody wants to pay nearly £3 a copy for, thats why it's always asking me for a charity donation to keep it going because nobody reads it except rich socialists.

The Guardian ... it's a comic

Labour or Liberal; both are certainly left wing. It's just that the former appeals to (or used to) the traditional working classes whilst the latter appeals to the 'professional' lefties, such as teachers. I know, because I know many!

Naturally, as I am of a right-wing persuasion (despite having been a teacher), I find myself agreeing mostly with the Telegraph.

Consequently, I consider the veracity of the Telegraph to be more veracious than the supposed veracity of the Grauniad!
