You don’t really believe that do you? It’s a whole different skill set which is why the Brexiteers have had to implement this.

I had a look too.
There is a trading surplus with the usa. If you stop selling so much to the americans, you don't need to buy from the EU. So the trade surplus with the usa would fill the trade deficit with the EU. You could be in balance, without leaving the EU?

No fear just reality

Negotiating international trade agreements is a specialised skill and the uk government has obviously realised this hence the training.

However, whilst these newly trained negotiators may be effective in negotiating the likes of Tonga it would be unrealistic to expect them to fare well against the experienced negotiators from the USA and EU

As for warehousing beans and tin foil, what has that got to do with international trade negotiating competencies?

FYI I don’t have a warehouse but I suppose I could use the barn and outbuildings but it would be pointless as it will be perishables that will possibly be in short supply if there are delays at borders

Yeah a barn would be perfect for stocking up.

All your medicines and food. You said there would be 9000 trucks waiting at the border on the other thread.

The suppliers and retailers have already done the stockpiling to cater for the delays

I have never said there would be 9000 trucks waiting at the border. I said do the math on 9000 trucks pertaining a 2 minute customs check on each

There will be delays but it if perishable goods that may suffer through delays and it’s pointless stockpiling pereissble goods as they are perishable

As far as other provisions we have a productive garden and a walk in pantry that is generally reasonably stocked
