Daily job list

I never, ever catch up with my jobs.

I write everything down that needs seeing to, and start every day with good intentions, but always things change and I don't get finished.

Do you have a daily job list?
Is it as long as your arm, or do you whistle through everything and still have time to spare?

Re: Daily job list

Hi Mups, Since retiring, all the jobs that I used to do so diligently due to working full time, have gone completely out of the window. They are now done as and when needed, or when we feel like doing them.

The only daily job that we are strict about doing now we are both retired is putting the kettle on when we get up each morning, watering our hanging baskets, troughs and tubs. oh, and changing the dogs' water in their dishes, grooming and feeding them. Everything else can wait! If the sun's out, then so are we.

Time enough for Spring cleaning in Winter!!!!

Re: Daily job list

I don't have time to do jobs around the house, I'm always busy either at work, dads, supporting my son, shopping or socialising (these always will come before housework). I keep looking and thinking I should hire a cleaner but then I think I don't like parting with my money when I am capable of doing it myself so every now and then it gets done.

I've planned on staying home on sunday to do some housework but I have a suspicion it won't pan out like that.

Morning Mups and shroppy x

Re: Daily job list

Mups the list is in my head but I always seem to get sidetracked and it doesn't get done but hay ho it doesn't really matter, being retired is for not having to worry about getting things done...

Re: Daily job list

Looking back I wonder where I used to find time to work plus everything else I had to do. Nowadays if I don't want to do much then I don't, it's as simple as that. Everything will still be there tomorrow while I may not, so why worry?

1 - Cup of coffee and breakfast cereal
2 - Read the day's news on the web
3 - Log in to OFF and make my way through the anger and bile on the Brexit thread.
4 - Sneer at the ridiculous comments made in the Politics thread
5 - Head to the LTP and boot out the unsavoury female types
6 - Read Mr Magoo's `Punch` thread
7 - Log off and go to work.

I'm the same .....

I spend ages creating/reviewing my To-Do List in the morning, then I get side-tracked onto something "creative" or pleasurable and, soon, the day is almost over ....

Ah, well, maņana .....

Re: Daily job list

I keep a detailed task list in outlook for work but only because work equals being paid a salary. This list is a moving target with tasks, due and completion dates constantly being updated.

For my private live I keep no job list as there are no jobs. I do as I please and when I please
