Re: Bike ride

Crank Sensor in place, just got to whip off the handlebar grip again and install the throttle, then tether all the wiring up.

Re: Bike ride

Help needed, below is a photo of the Battery Cable (two parts) that came with the controller, as you can see, it has circular terminal ends that would bolt onto battery poles. The cable on the battery itself has what looks like black plastic bullet connectors, can't see anyway that these belong together.

Re: Bike ride

Just checked, the black things on the battery cable are just covers, so I guess you fit the connectors of you choice, looks like I will have to buy a crimping tool now.

Re: Bike ride

Had a problem with the throttle control, ideally it should be on my right hand but, I have tried all combinations to get the throttle control near to the grip but something ends up fouling something else hence the position, a few inches away from the grip. If it proves difficult to operate where it is, I will have to move it to the left hand side and dispense with the gear shifter for the three cogs on the peddle sprocket which I tend not to use anyway.

Re: Bike ride

It looks as if it would be OK there once you get used to it.

Re: Bike ride

We will soon find out mart, the soldering gun arrived today, as did the heat shrink, just waiting for the actual connector block.

Re: Bike ride

we have had E bikes for about ten years, after six years with our first hybrid off road bike we changed to fold up e bikes, pop them in the back of the car easy to do and they go on holidays with us
