The Rain

Hi
How are you all coping with it?

It is hitting the bay window and Conservatory so hard I have had to turn the volume up on the TV.

All the lights are on it is so dark.

It is running down the front path and the back garden is already under an inch of water.

I love being out in my garden, but this year has been a disaster.

It has actually stopped raining here - still very dull and threatening though - so I guess it will be back!

We seem to have had nothing but rainy weather since the Summer ended & even before that.

No rain at about 08.00 this morning.

Drizzling a bit since.

Its raining cats and dogs here and has been since early morning .
Which means I haven't been out and am going stir crazy

Chucking it down at times . Yesterday went for a couple of miles walk and got soaked , my waterproof jacket wasnt and my trainers squelched all the way home . I didnt really care it was quite nice .

Am sure that JBR will agree with me when I say that what you think is a torrential downpour is, for those of us in Manchester, a light drizzle.

Come down to soggy wiltshire the blooming place squelches like a sponge .
