Re: Did you ever have one of these?

Still got a fire. I'm not sure if it can be called coal effect because the light shines up through real coal. It's that type of thing though.

Yes to a floor standing ashtray.

Not too bad if one used the paper rather than the cover.

I admit to the video boxes and the coal effect fire. What about you?
None of those - but - I do remember an aunt who had a crocheted poodle covering a jar of cotton wool balls.

I have liberated every Sindy doll I've come across being used as a loo roll holder, for my collection, minus the horrible knitted dress it was dressed in. It shouldn't be allowed. Sacrilege to Sindy's everywhere.

What about the portrait of the oriental looking woman with the blue face? And it is most negligent of you to leave out the Hilda Ogden wall ducks; the ones diminishing in size, that were nailed to her muriel.

We had all of the above in my family apart from the rifle lighter. There was a cigarette rolling machine in the shape of a Donkey. You lifted the tail up and the cigarette came out of its @rse.

We also had one of those birds that kept dipping its head into a glass of water and a teapot in the shape of a house.
