from old to new front kennel entrance

just another project undertaken when we had the kennels. That old wall only needed a push for it all to fall down

Paul
You have no idea how hard it was to get builders in to do the job. I was quoted up to 15,000 believe it or not (including new wrought iron gates.) that was from 3 different firms all quoting about the same.

Fortunately one of my clients did it for cost and he was a builder. They were only to pleased with how we looked after his dog so did us a favour

RS, the material cost of that wall would be about 500.00.and the gates about the same, the labour for the rendering would have been expensive, had you had to pay.

We got on well with all our clients , only about 4 complaints in well over 20 years,. Those were because we refused very old pets boarding for the first time .. We surmised the owners hoped their pet would pass away in our care then sue us . We heavily insured all boarders for any ailment

Good grief, I can hardly contemplate that owners of a long-term family pet could be so cruel as to hope their pets would end their lives in a strange environment (albeit one which was highly commended). It doesn't bear thinking about.

Yes putting into a strange place an animal of say 18 years old which had never been boarded made us wonder if they were true animal lovers. Their reason usually the pet sitter didn't want to know any more and they had to have a holiday. Sickened us and had words with them. Hence the complaints as well

Take it you did not listen the item on Jeremy Vine yesterday, where there is an increasing incidence of folks sending elderly relatives with dementia to Care Homes in Thailand.
Maybe they start as elderly Pet Boarders??

Missed yesterday's show so didn't see that. Why Thailand - is it cheaper, better run establishments or what?
