Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I'm alternating between the Tour de France and the Mens Final - don't know what I'll be watching this evening but it won't be "you know what". Don't know why but I'm feeling eally chilly, cardigan on already! Think I'll go and make a cup of tea to warm me up.

Hope Jac is OK, she hasn't posted for ages.

Nice to see you Jac!Hope you'll be feeling better soon.
No tennis to watch so I have no excuse to sit down in the afternoons.
Been gardening in between showers, there was a downpour when I took the bins out earlier.
I knew the result of the football at 3 this morning when I checked my phone.Good on Italy, mind you you'd think the other side had won with all the coverage on tv this morning!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Glad to hear from you Jac - I am a worry wart when you don't post!

We had a monsoon yesterday afternoon, but luckily I'd got the washing in before it started. DIL just came to pick up grandson and said that although she drove through the rain on the way home, when she got to their home (a mile the other side of the village) it was dry! She and Micky have been to Whitland today to buy calves - expensive day out.

Well there's no tennis but the Tour de France is still on, so something to watch. Did you see the first episode of "Lie with Me"yesterday? I liked it.

Lovely sunny morning.
Have a nice day ahead today-going to meet a friend in a village park where we used to play as children. We used to take jam sandwiches and water for picnics, think it'll be a bit more upmarket today!

Gosh two outings and a steak and mushroom lunch - you're living the dream Rhosyn. Big expedition today. Went to Leominster Morrisons to shop. Had a coffee afterwards and filled the car up and on the way home bought the yearly treat of cherries. Yum!

DIL came to pick up grandson with the news that Covid is rife in Hay on Wye. Sounds like the direct result of someone whose child was sent home from school with symptoms went to the pub to watch the football before getting positive test results. What is the matter with these people?

Hello
There was a massive increase in Track and trace last week and the Nurse that Laura saw To have a Covid test said she and lots of others were deleting their APP because they really couldnt self isolate every time they got a ping . She gets a phone call every day to check she is at home and her employer Boots had a letter to make sure she wasnt working
Keep safe xxx Lovely sunny one xxx
