For a single project the european commission donated double that figure.

Donor: European Commission, DG EuropeAid
Amount total: EUR 6,784,798
Contact person: Tomas Rehacek

Short project description: The actions’s overall objective is to increase the open,

Sadly Jo Swinson seems to be unable to understand corruption isn't allowed then isn't it. You'd imagine she'd know better in that case.

Re: Backhanders from the EU

Seems strange to me that an organization called Transparency International who's aim is to 'give voice to the victims and witnesses of corruption' would not be about as squeeky clean as is possible. Their website gives full details of all their supporters - including the UK Department for International Development.

Just checked their accounts for 2018. The UK was the largest contributor. Followed by the European Commission.
