Name that plant.

This was a gift and I love it but can't decide what it is. My son said it's a donkey and other people have said it's a dog? So we have called it a donog.

What do you guys think, a gay dog with long ears, or a gay donkey with a short nose? lol

I don't know what the plant is anybody know please and advice on watering (I am the worlds worst at looking after plants)!

Re: Name that plant.

Nah it's not a donkey, it is a black scottie dog after a good trim
As for your polyanthus, trim off yellowing leaves and dead-head flowers regularly, and don't let it dry out (don't overdo the watering either, keep it damp)
When it has finished flowering, plant it out in the garden, they are frost hardy.

Annie my son bought it for me but can't remember where from but I don't think it was Barton Grange, they are sold at our Asda store and he said they were £2 cheaper at Asda than were he got it from.

We do visit Barton Grange now and then, expensive but nice, so you are obviously familair with my neck of the woods.

Definitely a Scottish terrier with an exaggerated nose! If it were a donkey it's tail would be different
