Re: Bumfire Night

Looks like there'll have to be an additional warning provided on packaging along the lines of "might cause injury in the hands of a witless moron".

It's not the first time an idiot has launched a rocket from his bum - another moron tried it in 2017:

Teenager launches firework from his BOTTOM in bizarre stunt - and it goes horribly wrong

and, in 2012, this halfwit launched a rocket from his bum-HOLE:

Warning: Swearing

Re: Bumfire Night

Thankfully at last, the Government is seeking to introduce restrictions on the public buying fireworks. I do appreciate that sensible people still like to have a little family and friends party in their back gardens on bonfire night, with one particular person being responsible for lighting the fireworks, but all this has been spoiled by idiots who start letting off fireworks recklessly weeks before November 5th, and sometimes after.

How many animals have been frightened half to death by the sudden and deafening loud bangs and flashes of fireworks weeks and days before they are meant to be used?

I can still remember how my mum would come home with a box of fireworks ready for Nov 5th, but I don't recall fireworks being set off before the actual date. It seems to be prevailant nowadays though.

I hope that apart from authorised firework displays, fireworks are banned for the public. They cause so much harm to both humans and animals.

Imagine explaining that one at the Burns Unit.

Only idiots would do that, it serves them right if they injure themselves
