Re: Good Morning Monday.

Sunny and warmer, in fact everyday this week will be a couple of degrees warmer than the day before. About time too.

My son and his wife, with grandkids in tow, are on their way for a visit from Canberra - should arrive about 6pm ie in an hours time. I have been rushing about like a blue arsed fly getting their room ready.

I am slowly getting the gear ready for my camping trip this coming long weekend.

It's all go...

Enjoy your day.

Good morning everybody.

I feel a bit more energetic today & thought I might potter in the garden but bearing in mind I haven't got any protective covering over my stitches I think maybe I won't risk getting any dirt in them.

Think I'll sort some cupboards out instead.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all

Very wise Carol I'm surprised they left the wound uncovered but thinking about it it will probably heal faster left open...hope its not painful.

Another day in lockdown and I can't even have a pal round for coffee in the garden After being Covid free we now have three confirmed cases in our village. I read somewhere that there are usually ten times the amount of confimed cases so if that's true that means we have 30 cases....thats scary. I won't be breaking lockdown

Have a good day all....stay safe.

Re: Good Morning Monday.

Good morning everyone we had a bit of ground frost last night with white fields this morning .

I took the runner beans down yesterday but hesitated, I am pleased now that I did the frost would have stopped them growing and I am going to get on with preparing a bed for the new raspberries and garlic.

I used to be able to work all day but now find I get exhausted very easily and have to stop after a short time which is a real nuisance so big gardening jobs have to be done in stages.

Enjoy your day

Good morning all a chilly one too, only 3°c at the moment.

I need to repot some of my indoor plants today including my orchids if I can find my bag of orchid ‘compost’.

I still have a few pansies left to go in baskets but they are full of busy lizzies still flowering well and I’m reluctant to remove them yet.

Enjoy your day everyone

Re: Good Morning Monday.

Good morning all, cold here too this morning, in fact the windscreen was iced over when I went to Tesco first thing, but much too soon for that malarkey methinks...

Back from walking the dogs now and grabbing a brew before finding something useful to do, which shouldn't be too much of an effort..

Have a good day everyone
